So I haven’t worked on Funny Hair 2, because I’ve had a ridiculously busy week, which is very rare. I usually have so much time on my hands, that I don’t even know what to do with it.

It's so beautiful.
In other news, I got a copy of Richard William’s awesome 16 DVD collection seen above. Any animator who takes animation seriously knows about Richard William’s awesome book, The Animator’s Survival Kit. However not too long ago a DVD collection was released, showing workshops and in depth video basically going through the book, by Dick himself.
The price tag is pretty hefty, but the knowledge to be aqquired from it is pretty much priceless. I’m only on the 2nd DVD and I can already tell how invaluable it’s going to be for my future animations. The book is pretty complex and I’ve struggled to read it all, but the videos on the DVD’s are very easy to follow through with and to try hands on.
So again Funny Hair 2 will have a slight delay, as I try to focus on re-learning the few things I know about animation (considering everything I know is pretty much self-taught). I need to really start from scratch and absorb as much as my mind can possibly allow so that when I’m ready… reeeeally ready… I can start a decent lengthed film with good acting, sound, and most importantly the animation itself.
Wish me luck c:
